This Privacy Policy explains how Cycle Streak (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Cycle Streak mobile application (the “App”) and related services available through https://cyclestreak.com.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who we are
Cycle Streak is a cycling community app for riders (including the Cycle Streak Lahore community). The App helps users browse community events, register for rides, shop merchandise, track personal GPS rides, view ride statistics, and receive notifications.

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following:
2.1 Information you provide
- Profile details such as name, email address, phone number, and age (stored on your device and/or submitted when you register for events or place orders).
- Event registration details such as bike preference (own/rent), participant information, and payment slip images you upload.
- Shop / checkout details needed to process merchandise orders (for example name, contact, and delivery-related information you enter).
- Support messages if you contact us by email or through our website.
2.2 Location information
- When you use personal ride tracking, the App requests access to your device location (precise / GPS) to record your route, distance, speed, and related ride statistics.
- Location may continue in the background while a ride is active so tracking can continue if the screen is locked or the App is minimized. A persistent notification may be shown while tracking is active.
- Personal ride GPS history, streaks, and related stats are primarily stored locally on your device.
- We do not use your ride GPS track for advertising.
2.3 Device and technical information
- Device identifiers used for push notifications (for example Firebase Cloud Messaging / FCM token) and a device ID used to deliver in-app notifications.
- Basic technical logs needed to operate APIs (for example request diagnostics on our servers).
- App preferences such as theme settings stored on your device.
2.4 Content and media
- Photos or files you choose to upload (for example payment proof for event registration).
- Community gallery media displayed from our website / WordPress media library.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide and improve App features (events, registration, shop, rides, notifications).
- Track personal rides and show statistics when you choose to use ride tracking.
- Process event registrations and shop orders.
- Send service notifications about events, registrations, and orders.
- Respond to support requests and improve safety/reliability of the service.
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where required by law, we process personal data based on:
- Contract / service delivery — to provide features you request.
- Consent — for permissions such as location, notifications, and camera/photos where the OS asks you to allow access.
- Legitimate interests — to secure and improve the App and community operations, balanced against your rights.
5. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Our website / WordPress backend at cyclestreak.com to power events, shop, registrations, notifications, and related content.
- Service providers that help us operate the App, such as hosting, push notification providers (for example Google Firebase Cloud Messaging), and mapping / geocoding providers used for ride features (for example map tiles or route/place services when configured).
- Authorities if required by law or to protect safety, rights, or property.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising.
6. Data storage and retention
- On-device data: Personal ride history, streaks, local profile, favorites, and similar data may remain on your device until you delete the App or clear App data.
- Server-side data: Event registrations, orders, notification records, and uploaded payment proofs are retained as needed to operate the community service, fulfill orders/registrations, handle disputes, and meet legal/accounting needs.
If you want deletion of server-side account/registration data, contact us at info@cyclestreak.com and we will process reasonable requests subject to legal retention requirements.
7. Permissions the App may request
- Location — for GPS ride tracking and related map features.
- Notifications — for event, registration, and order updates.
- Camera / photos / files — when you upload payment slips or similar content.
- Internet — to load events, shop, notifications, and maps.
You can revoke permissions in your device settings. Some features will not work without the related permission.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and community cycling activities. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for the purpose of targeting them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please keep your device updated and protect access to your phone.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete certain information
- Withdraw consent for optional permissions
- Object to or restrict certain processing

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
